How to join us · March 8, 2024

XthHere's how
you join the night.

Three small steps and you're in: pick how you'd like to come (solo, with a team, or as a sponsor), tell us a little about you, and we'll send everything you need before March 8. Tickets are limited — past years have sold out by mid-February.

Home How?
Three steps

From curious to confirmed in under five minutes.

i.

Choose how you're coming.

A single seat is perfect if you're flying solo — we'll pair you with a team at the door. Reserve a full table for a group of six to eight, or sponsor a round to back the work behind the night.

≈ 2 minutes
ii.

Tell us about your team.

Name your team (the best ones are bookish puns), let us know about any dietary needs or accessibility requests, and pick a team captain to be our point of contact for the evening.

≈ 2 minutes
iii.

We confirm and prep you.

You'll get an instant confirmation, a parking and transit guide the week before, and a starter packet of "ten women you should already know" from the host committee — required reading, gently.

Questions, answered

A few practical things people ask us every year.

Still wondering? Email [email protected] and a real person — usually Maya or Imani from the host committee — will write back within a day.

What if I don't have a team?
Reserve a solo seat and we'll pair you up at the door. Roughly a third of guests come solo each year — by the second round you'll already have a team you'll text in May.
Do I need to know a lot of history to enjoy it?
No. Questions span suffrage, science, music, sport, scholarship, and pop culture — there is always at least one round about now and one round you can ace just by listening closely. We grade on enthusiasm.
Is the venue accessible?
Yes. The 625 Monroe St NE venue is wheelchair accessible with step-free entry, accessible restrooms, and reserved low-noise tables. ASL interpretation is available with two weeks' notice — just note it on your RSVP or email [email protected].
Is there childcare?
Yes — free childcare is offered on-site for ages 2 through 11 when reserved at least one week in advance. Add a note to your RSVP with the number and ages of children attending and we'll follow up to confirm.
What if I can't afford the suggested donation?
Come anyway. Every tier is sliding scale and no one is ever turned away for lack of funds — that's a ten-year-old promise. When you RSVP, just write "sliding scale" in the notes and we'll quietly take care of it.
Where do the proceeds go?
100% of net proceeds go to feminist movement work through the Resonance Network, our fiscal sponsor. After we cover venue, food, and printing, every remaining dollar funds organizing in the year ahead — and we publish the breakdown in April.
Can I get a refund or transfer my seat?
Of course. Transfer a seat to a friend any time before March 8 — just let us know who's coming in your place. Need a full refund? Email us by March 1 and we'll handle it, no questions asked.
I want to host my own WHM Trivia Night next year. Help?
Yes — please. We share our full playbook (questions, run-of-show, sponsorship templates, the works) with anyone who wants to host their own night, anywhere. Email [email protected] and we'll get on a call.
One more thing

Ten years on, the door's still open.

If you've been before, welcome back. If you've never been, you belong here just as much — bring your favorite footnote, your wittiest team name, and someone whose company you've been missing.
